EKG Course and the main arrhythmias in daily practice is a 3-hour interactive course. We will teach you in this class the analysis of the electrocardiographic tracings (strips). This class is dedicated to your professional daily practice. It can be attended by any healthcare professional interested in the subject especially nurses, physicians, physician assistants, and students of those career paths.

In our EKG Course, you will learn a quick and easy interpretation of ECG. Also in our class, we will show the main points to be analyzed to identify a normal EKG and its main alterations. You will know how to differentiate a normal EKG from cardiac arrhythmia or a myocardial ischemia sign for example. Special attention will be given to the main cardiac arrhythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, and Ventricular Tachycardias. You will understand the Atrioventricular Blocks (AVBs) occur; don’t just memorize their patterns.

We will talk about the cardiac arrest rhythms, such as types of ventricular fibrillation. You will also see the initial management of these arrhythmias, and the medications used, such as beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, and antiarrhythmics.

Our Presenting Instructor:

This course will be presented by our expert Cardiologist and Intensivist Tobias Araujo, MD. Native from Brazil with more than 10 years of experience in the practice of medicine in ICU, ER, and ward. He is also an experienced Licensed AHA instructor in the disciplines of BLSACLS, and PALS in the US and with years of teaching experience in Brazil and in the US at colleges and hospitals.
